Jenny Jowett opened her two acre garden in Silchester on the Berkshire Hampshire border for the National Garden Scheme, and for private groups by appointment.

This much loved garden has fascinating colour combinations inspired by the artist owners; herbaceous borders crammed with rare and unusual plants, wonderful clematis, pots full of half hardys, a wild pond garden and a large kitchen garden with lovely views across a field of grazing cattle. The owners’ studio was always open with an interesting exhibition of paintings, prints and cards.

The garden was featured in the Good Garden Guide.
